Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where I am happier when he is away
And avoiding him when he is around
Where I want him to be away,
But never leave me.

Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where she is always used by others,
But never learns her lesson.
Where she expects me to do as she says with out complains,
But let’s me know that it is wrong.

Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where males treat females the way the like
And expect respect in return.
Where they speak and u am to follow without hesitation,
But expect me to have a mind of my own.

Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where it is ok to be maltreated,
But wrong to do the same.
Where elders are to be seen as gods,
But not worshipped.

Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where sisters are two faced,
But claim it is all in my head.
Where I want her around,
But feel lacking in her presence.

Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where brothers care about me,
But I still want them gone.
Where only in their absence can I be me,
Without any pretence.

Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where I know I am loved by them,
But yet feel estranged.
Where I rather be alone, than be with them,
But miss them when they are not here.
This is the farce I call my life…
