The Farce that is my Life

Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where I am happier when he is away
And avoiding him when he is around
Where I want him to be away,
But never leave me.

Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where she is always used by others,
But never learns her lesson.
Where she expects me to do as she says with out complains,
But let’s me know that it is wrong.

Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where males treat females the way the like
And expect respect in return.
Where they speak and u am to follow without hesitation,
But expect me to have a mind of my own.

Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where it is ok to be maltreated,
But wrong to do the same.
Where elders are to be seen as gods,
But not worshipped.

Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where sisters are two faced,
But claim it is all in my head.
Where I want her around,
But feel lacking in her presence.

Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where brothers care about me,
But I still want them gone.
Where only in their absence can I be me,
Without any pretence.

Welcome to the farce I call my life.
Where I know I am loved by them,
But yet feel estranged.
Where I rather be alone, than be with them,
But miss them when they are not here.
This is the farce I call my life…

Last of your Kind

Sitting by yourself, laughing at the confusion, smiling through the tears. Seem to have found yourself in a place where you can’t fit in. Moving with the flow happens to be difficult. Looking at yourself, feeling like something is out of place and you’re trying to fix what you’re not sure is the problem. The whole world is making you believe that you’re different.

Being different is not all that bad, it depends on where the energy is channeled to. If the energy is channeled in the right direction, then feeling different may just feel good, but this rarely happens. Mostly, the energy is usually channeled at the wrong path, which may gradually break you down. That’s why believing that you’re unique, rather than different goes a long way to give your the right amount of understanding and optimism to face life's battles.

Different means, “being unlike or not the same”. Being unique means, “ you are the only of your sort. i.e. there is no one like you. i.e. before and after you, there is not and can’t be another you. Let me break it to you, you are the last of your kind.

Accepting to be different changes a lot in you and instead of trying to get the best out of yourself, your energy would be channeled at trying to change who you are. You try to fit in where you are not suppose to. You try to move with the flow of limiting factors. You try to put in place something  already on its right position. You are trying to belong. You are trying to change who you are. You are unique and it’s boldly written on your DNA - you can’t be changed. Pulling all the stunts goes a long way in shaking the foundation of your life, ‘cause you will end up chasing the wind.

There is no greater joy than being fulfilled. This can be done by doing what makes you happy. Most people do not even know what makes them happy, 'cause they are caught between the webs of their fears and that of  people's expectations that they can’t distinguish between them being happy and pretending to be.

There is something inside of you that can’t be found in anyone else and that is what makes you unique. Many people  understood this concept and that's why when you try to do something, you do it the normal way, and it never works for you. This is because you are not just a normal person – you have to find your own way through life troubles. You have to connect, you have to know what’s inside you.

Steps in finding out who you are:

What type of conversation draws your interest the most?
Who is the mirror image of yourself?
What makes you happy?
Do you enjoy doing, but can still earn money from?

Putting your life towards this direction ensures fulfilment and happiness. You just discovered your passion!

Your passion may not be easy to implement because of certain factors like your fears or people's expectations. I must say to you, “you should not let people and fear run your life. If you let them run your life, then you are simply giving your life away your life and then this removes the joy out of living, ‘cause you are walking in someone else's tracks, not your's and may end up living in regret for the rest of your life. No one wants to be a victim of this.

Life is a language that can only be understood by living it. In life you have different moments – some are beautiful, some sad and others may just be awkward, but they are all your's to be cherished and if you can live pass your fears and people’s expectations, then the reward is your life.

People with greater destines fight the most battles – the world doesn’t fight an empty person. So the next time you’re drowning in a sea of troubles and doubt starts creeping in, always remember that we are often troubled, but not crushed. Sometimes in doubt, but never in despair. There are many enemies, but you are never left without a friend. And always bear in mind that you are. Believe and say to yourself, “I AM THE LAST OF MY KIND”.

So next time you sit by yourself, keep on laughing at the confusion and smiling through the tears, because someday, everything would make perfect sense!

3 Effective and Simple ways to Stay Healthy

  • AUTHOR: JOSHUA U. NGWUOKE
  • CATEGORY: HEALTH AND FITNESS
  • TAGS: HEALTH TIPS | STAYING HEALTHY
A wise man once said, “Create habits, not restrictions”. Preventing diseases and staying healthy is a subject that has been broadened and expanciated on by many different individuals and coperate bodies, time without number.

Following the escalation of several infectious diseases in recent times, everyone has at a point in time, been educated (informed) on the role they can play in limiting the spread of diseases, but despite all the warnings and education, there has been an alarming spike in the number of people who have fallen victims to these diseases. The major reason is the fact that people see preventive measures as limitations to their everyday lives and often get tired of them.

So how do I stay healthy and at the same time be comfortable?

Below are some tips on how to go about this:

CHANGE YOUR MINDSET:

So many people are of the view that living a healthy life is all about placing limits, but that’s not true, because humans hate being  restricted – which makes that point totally impracticable. So what do I say? Living a healthy life isn’t just about placing limits, but developing the habit of placing those limits. I know It sounds confusing and kinda insensible now, but giving it a closer look, you’ll see that getting used to healthy practices won’t just restrict you from engaging in the unhealthy ones, but will help you to live without them. Thus, we should create habits and not restrictions.

MAINTAIN GOOD PERSONAL HYGIENE:

In other to stay healthy, we must learn to wash our clothes properly, take our bath and brush our teeth twice a day, wash our hands regularly, et cetera. Over the years, hand washing has become a prevailing method of fighting germs (that cause diseases). If one must stay healthy, then he/she must develop the habit of washing his/her hands regularly.

EAT HEALTHY:

When it comes to eating healthy, a lot of things are to be considered in other to do it right. This includes;
- The type of food you eat.
- Your consumption level.
- Your choice of food
- And even the food source matters too.

These three (3) are the basic ways to stay healthy. If you can follow the above points, then the probability that you won’t fall sick should be 8/10 (ie. 80%).

Bloody Dance

A thirst of blood and dance of death
Amazing and trembling
Full of suspense and suspicion
Dreadful and threatening dance.

A dance of death and thirst of blood
Oh! What a dance indeed
A fallacy and cover up story
A top secret and hidden agenda.

It's mission is incoherent
Uncomprehending and filled with suspicion
It's tagged "dance" but maim
Animal dance of thirst for blood.

They came in fully armed and ready
In peaceful land to cause havoc
As killers but security operatives in disguise
Fully equipped with ammunition.

They charged at innocent populace with hatred and animosity.
Shooting sporadically at defenseless civilians
Total decimation and annihilation.

They jubilate and rejoice as people groan
Without remose and guilt feeling.
Tagged armless civilians as traitors,
Transforming democracy to mediocrity.

Animal dance of thirst for blood.

Inside Life - Trip To Onitsha Shoprite

AUTHOR: ANIEBONAM GEORGE C.
CATEGORY: STORIES
TAGS: STORIES | INSIDE LIFE | A TRIP TO SHOPRITE

On a Sunday evening, I took a stroll with an old friend of mine, Kemzy by name to ShopRite shopping mall located in Onitsha, Anambra state.
On our way, we encountered the usual tormenting traffic jam of Onitsha Metropolis, from Basilica to Egerton down to the mall location. We saw huge number of youths, particularly young boys and girls trooping in and out of ShopRite mall in two's, three's and so on. To my utmost bewiderment, on entering the premises, I was amazed at what I saw.

I asked my friend, "Kem, has this place turn to main market or main market have taken over ShopRite management ? ". He giggled and said, " that's Onitsha for you, today is sunday. People are out to flex and hang out to ease the week stress". The amazing and funny thing is that tents, canopies, kiosk and temporary structures are set up inside the premises, no parking lot spaces again for customers vehicle and no security checks again as the mammoth crowding in and out of ShopRite the same time is inestimable.

Buying and selling like the ones inside main market took place. I ended up saying, "Mehn! Onitsha peeps no sabi smart and gentlemen lifestyle at all". Kem laughed at my utterance in usual Otu way.... "If you no package in Otu way, Onitsha will blend your life".
To end the crab, the annoying thing is that we couldn't even buy the shoprite bread again because the mammoth crowd on queue waiting to buy only ShopRite bread was terrifying. I was in a hurry to catch my late flight back to my destination, I have to let go and we left.

Hello guys, welcome to the JUCNfact Articlepedia. Today we'll be looking at some facts about life with Tabcy Styles.
People who do not get along with others are interested only in themselves,
they will disagree with what everyone else knows is right.

A fool does not care whether he understands a thing or not ;all he wants to do is to show how clever he is.

Sin and shame go together, lose your honour, and you will get scorn in place.

So be good to others and gain reward!
